Hi, I am Michi！ I was born in Tokyo, Japan, and came to Seville for the first time because of a exchange program at university. Since then I have travelled all around the world, but finally I’m back to the second country that I can call my home after Japan. I would like to share the experience of discovering Sevilla for the first time with my guests and that is why I have renovated this apartment with all the things that to me have the essence of the city. My goal is for you to have an unforgettable stay in Seville! My husband and I speak English, Spanish and Japanese, and we will do our best for you to be confortable during your stay. About la Terraza de Toneleros My husband´s grandfather acquired and salvaged the entire building more than 40 years ago. It is difficult to know how long the building has been there, and the exterior design has changed with each era, but when you look at the original bricks in the living room wall, you can feel the history of sevilla as you realize that they where made by hand, each in a different size, before machinery. We also loved that the streets are narrow following the old city planning, and during eastern a procession leaves its 500 years old church mere meters from the apartment entrance. Our apartment is unique because we have connected and fully reformed 2 duplex apartments with both style and the best materials. Each of the two connected apartments is a little bit different. In one we have used lime mortar and the original bricks to experience the feeling of the classic houses in the area. In the other side we have tried to show a modernized Seville style with some moorish details just like some of the main monuments in the city. What you will love the most is its beautiful terrace where you can chill out with your friends and family and you will not forget the days you will stay in this amazing historical city! Besides, all windows are double glazed to protect you from heat and the noises of a city that rarely sleeps. The kitchen is clean and functional, and we do our best to provide with all the basic needs and even some extras.
