Guests traveling with trailers or other long vehicles should be aware that the roads inside Leatherwood are narrow, steep, mountain roads that are not conducive to vehicles or trailers longer than a two-horse bumper pull trailer or a gooseneck trailer less than 20 feet long on the main roads. At Rainbows Edge, trailers larger than a 3 horse may have difficulty making the turn into the parking area on the gravel drive.. You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, play ground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals). Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe and our property very secluded. For added peace of mind, we have security cameras by the gated entrance and common areas. Individual properties may also have cameras on the EXTERIOR of homes.
