I offer: Discounts all year: 15% weekly (7 nights) or more. 30% for monthly (28 nights+). Guests have their own PRIVATE bathroom & PRIVATE lounge. 1 TWIN & 1 SINGLE room for up to 3 guests . (You will be the only party of guests, even if it's just you alone.) Your own lounge with a fridge, kettle & microwave / oven to heat up oven-ready, prepared meals (but NO kitchen access). A calm, comfortable set-up, located in a quiet, leafy lane, near the city wall, 5 mins. from the Cathedral. The two guest bedrooms - 1 twin & 1 single - and a dedicated, private guest bathroom are on the first floor. (Once you make a booking, you will be the only party/guest, even if the booking is only just for one person). On the ground floor guests have their own PRIVATE living/ dining room ( with fridge, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, tea / coffee. (NOTE: Guests DO NOT have access to the kitchen. Guests just have their own microwave / oven and toaster in their lounge). The living room has a glass door leading out onto a lovely, private, small patio garden with views of the cathedral. (My private rooms are on the second floor. The house is much larger than it seems!)

Fay’s place was excellent - fantastic location (an easy walk into the city centre), comfortable bed, lovely garden and everything I needed to self cater, which was a huge benefit. The private lounge is brilliant. Fay was very friendly and available to provide any information I needed. I enjoyed meeting her and would happily stay again.
This is fantastic value for money within east walking distance of Canterbury centre with free parking on site and every need catered for. Fay is the perfect host and provides a delicious healthy breakfast. You will be lucky indeed if you land here!

Hands down the best airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Fay is an incredibly kind and caring woman, and made me feel at home as soon as I stepped through the front door. She took the time to get to know me, and even showed me some popular tourist spots around the city through her extensive guidebook. She even looked up the weather patterns for me before I took a trip to Dover! I stayed three nights, and every morning she provided me with a beautiful breakfast. She thought of everything - from the type of bread I liked, the varieties of cereal and fruit, and even laid out a heated blanket when I stayed in the first night. The place was spotless, and its close proximity to the center of Canterbury made traveling very easy. Easily an unforgettable weekend, and I would recommend Fay’s place to anyone and everyone!

My house is in a quiet, leafy lane, away from the busy main road, yet only 5 minutes' walk into the heart of Canterbury and to the main bus/coach station.
Other interesting smaller towns easily accessible by bus are:
Whitstable, Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Margate, Ramsgate,
Sandwich, Deal, Dover, Folkestone,
Faversham, Chilham, Ashford
Parking can be in my carport for FREE for small cars ( mine is a C3 Citroen), but you need to let me know in advance.
For larger cars, there is paid-for, on-street parking to the front of the house and nearby. ( I can get a visitor permit for you, in advance, which costs £4 per day (24 hrs) which is much cheaper than the city's other carparks).
My house is so close to the City you can explore on foot; everything you are likely to need is within 10 minutes' walk.
The train Stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West, are both a 5 minute taxi journey away, or a 15-20 minute walk.
Canterbury Bus/Coach station is very close by, just 10 minutes' walk away.

I love welcoming visitors to Canterbury. I can offer up to 3 (adult) guests their own PRIVATE living/dining room & PRIVATE bathroom. (Once you make a booking you will be the only party, even if it's only just you!). My home is Ideally placed to explore the city on foot and is just 6 minutes' to the Cathedral & city centre & bus station. It's an ideal base if coming for Canterbury Festival (cultural arts), this year 19 October to 2 November 2024.
