This little casita is perfect for foodies, dog lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The location offers easy walking to many restaurants and coffee shops. Unfortunately during our stay we had to self-quarantine due to the New Mexico mandate for out of state visitors. The restaurants did not offer delivery, so we made sure we brought all our groceries with us from Colorado. We have picked out all the restaurants we want to visit during our next stay! The yard is isolated and a great space for dogs who just like to wander around. Walking dogs is a bit of a challenge because Upper Ranchitos road doesn’t have side walks and the cars drive fast. It’s really quiet and peaceful here.

Enjoyed our month at Jessica’s home. Didn’t get to meet her but she was prompt and responsive via message. House was comfy, yard was pleasant. Thankful for her sheltering my family.

The Sister Casita house was the perfect boho getaway to experience our first time in Taos! Looking for a place to get away from reality while still getting to enjoy the charm of Taos as much as possible? This is the place! Super cute, funky, unique and thoughtfully decorated duplex near everything of interest in Taos. My fiancé, myself and my dog had a great weekend here and especially loved the gated entrance and full privacy fence and private yard - that was a huge bonus for us! Obviously the fact that we could bring our dog without breaking the bank was another great bonus as well! My only issue is that we were left with absolutely no paper products in the house and checked in late in the evening during this pandemic and were literally left to our own devices because stores were closed... this included toilet paper... I can understand not providing paper towels and napkins, but TP should be a staple no matter what. I would also like to make future guests aware that the fire places in the living room and bedroom are non-functioning, so you will not have a romantic firelight dinner or otherwise. We were pretty disappointed in this considering it was one of the draws of the rental for us. Otherwise truly, it was awesome! It’s absolutely beautiful and very true to the New Mexican culture and the vibe of Taos and we will absolutely be back! Thanks Jessica!
