Immaculate 1 bedroom, while there is no beach view - access to a beach is just steps away! With 2 small islands and their pristine beaches very near to our rugged neighborhood beach a which is a 2 minute walk way- this is a swimmer’s, snorkeler’s and kayaker’s paradise. We also have a 3 bedroom unit which can hold up to 6 people https://abnb.me/o3XBbkctA9 Kayak and land tours available. 10 minutes ride away in Dockyard by bus or car. Close to Port Royal PGA golf course Feels like home - warm and cozy Queen bed. Private entrance and yard. Clean, airy spacious and bright! The kitchen has ample storage, stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster oven and a Keurig coffee machine. The apartment also includes an iron and ironing board as well as a gas BBQ available outdoors. Laundry facilities are available for guests, in apartment. There are beach towels provided. Private access. Help is available for tours and anything you need. The nearest grocery store would be Somerset Market and several restaurants close by. Airport pick up is available brings your to home away from home each with a stop at the grocery store included.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bermuda at Desiree’s place! The place was just as pictured, very clean and had everything we needed! (We really appreciated the surplus of towels, coffee for the morning and olive oil for cooking). Her place is right next to a bus stop so we took advantage of that and used it most days. She picked us up from the airport and took us by the post office (to get bus passes) and by the grocery store on our way at to the Airbnb. Overall, great experience! If we come back to the island, we’d love to stay at Desiree’s place again!

Desiree picked us up from the airport and on the way to the apartment we popped into a supermarket for some supplies. It was great being able to chat to her in the car and learn more about Bermuda life. She also took us back to the airport. Having Desiree drive us from and to the airport was so convenient. The apartment is so comfortable,clean and well equipped and we really enjoyed the garden. Fred and Desiree were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The bus stops are so convenient, making it so easy to get round Bermuda on the buses. The beach was less than five minutes walk from the house and great for swimming and snorkelling including around Morgan's Island. We loved our two week stay in the apartment and thank Desiree and Fred so much for making our Bermuda adventure extra special.
Desiree and her husband Fred are awesome people. We paid her to pick us up at the airport but that is a long drive and you learned a lot about the island on your way, but it made checking in, etc very easy for us, she even took time to stop and let us get a moped. She made us dinner one afternoon and didn't charge us, she and her husband took us on a great tour. They do a day long tour but we had to do an abbreviated tour because of time. However, I am not sure why people would pay for overpriced tours when they can go with Desiree and get private VIP treatment for a cheaper price. Place fit our needs perfectly. You have a beach you can walk down to. Get a moped to explore, take a day long tour with Desiree, and relax. We had no problems!

The closest beach to the property would be Ely's Harbour, a charming beach which is about a minute away. Other beaches nearby would be Somerset Long Bay to the west. To the east, Church Bay and West Whale Bay offer wonderful South Shore snorkeling opportunities as well as pink, shell strewn beaches to explore. Snorkeling equipment can be rented at Church Bay and several of the larger beaches such as Horseshoe Bay.
The nearest grocery store would be Somerset Market Place. Nearby restaurants include- 4 Star Pizza, Salt Rock Café and The Country's Squire.
The bus stop is across the street - a bus pass is the most economical way to get around. Moped helps you explore our island, we can have mopeds delivered to your door. Also my "uber services" available.
