The host was responsive and allowed an early check- in. The kitchen and bedrooms were clean and well- stocked. The house is near a bus line but the bus was very inconsistent. The only thing to be aware of is that the hosts live in the top floor of the house and share the main floor bathroom with guests. They did a good job of respecting our privacy but we were definitely in their living spaces.

Host is very kind. Realized I did not read that he would be staying upstairs during the stay (it was posted, so that was my mistake), but sent a message regarding after the fact. I was told it would be his parents staying there and we would not notice them. Met both of them later that night. The next morning I walked into the kitchen not expecting to see anyone, but instead saw mom and two teenage (I assume) boys. Felt extremely uncomfortable as I was not wearing anything I would want strangers to see me in. After that, there were additional encounters seeing them. For myself and my family, it was very uncomfortable, but if you are the type of person that doesn’t mind, it wouldn’t be an issue. As for cleanliness, you can definitely tell it is a lived in house. We tried using a few glasses out of the cabinet and they were not clean. I was going to wash them, but there was a dirty dish rag sitting by the sink. Luckily after looking around a little more, I realized there was a tray of clean glasses and pitchers of waters sitting on the table. The fridge had an awful smell in it. It was cold enough outside that we just put all drinks and any food we had outside for the night, but not what we would prefer to do. There was hair in the drain in the bath tub. Overall, not what we would expect to see. As for comfortability, the beds were fine. The pillows however, we’re like a piece of paper in a pillow sheet. Extremely uncomfortable for all of us. No blankets to use downstairs for when we were sitting on the couches hanging out. We also could not get the TV to work to hangout and watch a movie or show together. The second morning, we were all tired and moving slow from the night before and the family of four was downstairs being extremely loud. The last morning, we were all woken up by someone playing guitar upstairs. The bathrooms were being used by the family in the house, so our group was not able to use them when we needed to. We had not packed up or cleaned our mess before we checked out for the day, and someone walked through the house, stopped and stared, and let out a big sigh, then walked away. So for those of us sitting in the room, we felt uncomfortable and as though we were a burden. In conclusion, not what we would expect, would not stay here again, and not worth the price we paid.

Duc and his family have been perfect hosts for our group, very friendly and kind! The house was beautiful, modern and fully equipped: as Italian we appreciated a lot the fantastic coffee machine.
