Julio’s place matched the description and perfect for an extended stay. Everything we needed was within walking distance to include Condado beach, La Placita nightlife, the gym, and El Rey’s where you can get the best Churrasco in San Juan. Julio was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed and even hired a cleaner for us mid stay at no additional cost.

a great spot to visit with your friends or family. walking distance to the beach, and other locations in Condado and the Market (La placita). Definitely rent a car if you are planning to visit other beaches and attractions on the island. There is parking available inside the building which makes it very comfortable and safe for traveling. yes, you can see how the island was affected by the storms and hurricanes, but you will learn more than culture, but survival skills to what we take for granted in Europe or the mainland USA. Overall, it is a great adventure and memory for my family.

We just returned home from a wonderful two months in San Juan. Julio’s condo location was perfect for what we wanted - an immersive, cultural experience where we lived as locals, not tourists. Located approximately 10 minutes from the beach, three blocks off Ashford Ave, we walked everywhere - Super Max Supermercado, our gyms, Walmart and restaurants. Building is next to a highway exit ramp and side street, so we had both traffic noise and roosters crowing! That’s life in the city! Building is safe, quiet and condo is clean. It is Julio’s home, not a dedicated rental, but he emptied closets and left few personal effects. Great rooftop with a great view. We met some nice neighbors. It helps to speak Spanish when not on Ashford Ave, but not mandatory. Old San Juan was a quick Uber drive where we went out to lunch, dinner and played tourist. This was the second year we’ve done this type of trip and hope to do it again next year. We would absolutely come back to this condo!
