Absolutely stunning location of this lovely cabin! We enjoyed the whole week sitting outside in the sun on the terrace and hear the sound of the sea. When it got colder we spend time in the cozy winter garden with the wood-fired oven! Thank you so much for the lovely days :)
Shhhh- not sure we should be letting everyone know about this little gem of a place! What a wonderful cabin this is. We have had just the most glorious time staying there, looking down in the beach, taking it easy and getting to know the locals. Ross, the owner, is an absolute gentleman and helped us settle in when we arrived. It’s basic inside and even with us all in one room sleeping, this place has given us fabulous memories as a family.
This place is absolutely stunning the photos don’t do it justice. It’s a perfect hideaway for some quiet time. Even in January when it was rather wet we still had the best time but I can only imagine how glorious it would be in the summer. I will definitely be returning to this place for another stay.
Stop scrolling. You’ve found what you’re looking for. A secluded and private log cabin nestled in the Cornish cliff face overlooking the cove. It was the perfect and idyllic space for us to spend Christmas. And more than that, met with hosts who were very thoughtful and warm-hearted. They were generous and helpful throughout our stay. It was more than simply a space to stay but a welcome to a wonderful community.
Portholland is village on the south coast of Cornwall divided into two - West Portholland and East Portholland - in the parish of St Michael Caerhays.
Each hamlet has its own beach and at low tide they join up and you can walk the beach between the two.
East Portholland is the larger village and a delightful place, quiet, unspoiled and very pretty with a few cottages clustered around the beach.
In April 2015, Portholland was transformed to become a Welsh village for Tim Burton's latest film. Stars include Samuel L Jackson, Eva Green, Chris O'Dowd, Dame Judi Dench and Terrence Stamp.
The villages are located within an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Most of the properties here are owned by the Caerhayes Castle Estate, formerly the home of the ancient Trevanion family. In 1860 the estate was sold to another well established Cornish family, the Williams'.
The hamlets have been kept as a working, farm-based community, maintaining a simplicity and lack of development, with little change for over one hundred years, which has seen East and West Portholland, awarded the status of National Heritage Assets.
There is parking at the owners cottage and a car park in the port. I would suggest you need a car as the village is remote.
Top tip do an online food shop and get it delivered, I know Tesco's, Waitrose, Sainsburys and Asda all Deliver

Hi I am Abi, and I arrange the bookings for the Cabin for my parents, Annie and Ross. I have 3 children and a fur baby, and my husband is Ryan. Seaspray Cabin is by far one of my favorite places to go, I know I am biased, but it really does feel like a little piece of heaven to escape the hustle and bustle.
