Our check-in and check-out were both super flexible, and Brian was really responsive with our questions. A little bit of an adventure getting down to the water, but nothing my wife and I couldn’t manage! Overall, it was a super peaceful stay. We enjoyed how close we were to the Dells for a quick day-trip, and De Forest had a super cute coffee shop (The Poppy Seed) and massive public library that are absolutely worth visiting!

We stayed here with our two dogs and were so grateful to find Brian’s place!! Brian was a great host, sending us instructions the day of and access was easy with a keypad & key. The property itself is very private and there are some bits that are under construction, but it didn’t bother us at all. Our pups loved running around the shared yard and the Wisconsin River views! The place itself was very clean, exactly as described, and an easy 20-25 min drive to Cascade Mountain. We had meals in Portage, and highly recommend Neil’s Wine Bar! Thank you!

Not much nearby. Wisconsin River is behind a fence and bluff. Too much mud. Needs to fix driveway.
