We are situated in the tranquil rural town of Manchioneal. Take a moment to unwind after exploring the plethora of nearby attractions. San Shore (free) and Turtle Bay beach are just a short distance away. Reach Falls is a mere 5 minute drive or if you are inclined, hike through the Blue Mountains to discover some hidden off streams. Venture to Port Antonio and explore Frenchman’s Cove, Errol Flynn Marina, Blue Lagoon, Monkey Island, Somerset Falls, Maroon Town and the Rio Grande. So much to do! The house offers an atmosphere of unparalleled relaxation Wake up in nature, surrounded by lush greenery, with a refreshing morning sea breeze, the gentle rustling of trees and a sense of being entirely disconnected from the grid. Begin your day with an invigorating morning jog along the captivating coastline, or simply relax on the back veranda with the finest Blue Mountain coffee gazing out at the mesmerizing Caribbean Sea. If you find yourself indoors during your stay, as the sun rises, retreat to the front veranda and enjoy the gentle mid afternoon breeze. The space offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms a fully equipped kitchen as well as spacious dining and living areas. Some amenities include wifi, cable television and access to the washing machine. Here is where you unwind and when you are ready for adventure, you’re just steps away from your own private beach or the nearby local beach.

If you like to discover the real Jamaica, that's a good place to go. The house is simple but everything is there. Dona, the caretaker, was very nice. We enjoyed a few days of rest in this "fishing village".
Das Häuschen ist an sich sehr ordentlich aber schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen Es hat sehr doll bei uns geregnet und es tropfte überall ins Haus rein.( vom Dach ) Einige Küchen Utensilien ( Toaster, mixer) sind verschimmelt und somit nicht nutzbar. Wir haben die kleine Terrasse direkt am Meer sehr genossen und auch die Ruhe. Man hört nur das Wellen tauschen ! Die nötigsten Sachen kann man direkt neben an in kleinen Shops kaufen. Leider gab es kein warmes Wasser und das wifi funktionierte auch nur manchmal. Im Großen und Ganzen kann man aber ein paar Nächte gut dort verbringen Rona war auch immer erreichbar und hat uns nett in Empfang genommen .
The stay at Florettes was nice. At first we were a little bit disheartened as the drive there was tenuous. Alot of roadworks going on and the road getting there was very rough and bumpy. However the house was clean,comfortable and spacious and we enjoyed being right on the water and getting some of the sea breeze. Ms. Rona was very responsive,checked on us at least 1-2 times a day and made some really great suggestions that made our family vacation very fun. All in all a great holiday! The children enjoyed themselves and even wanted to stay an extra day! I would call that a success. If we are ever planning on Manchoneil again we would come back here .
House was as described. The indications were very helpfull to find the house. Special thanks to Ronda who help us and was always available.
The view is beautiful. You are right on the water. Rona checks in daily to make sure everything is good. Plenty of room for the family. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. If you don't want to cook there are places to get food in the area.

Our home is located in the rural town of Manchioneal which was previously a well established fishing village. Over the years, the town transitioned into a community for retired persons since its location is just outside the city. Manchioneal is located about 2 hours from both Norman Manley Airport in Kingston as well as the Ian Flemming Airport in Ocho Rios. Some fishing still exists and fresh seafood is readily available for purchase at the local supermarket or roadside food stops. Within Manchioneal is San Shore which offers free beach access interaction with the locals. Turtle Bay Beach is also located here which is home to mini sea pools and is absolutely breathtaking. Paid Tours are offered for this experience or your could do the trek on your own. Both Turtle Bay Bay and San Shore are about a 10 minute walk from the home. Reach falls is a 5 minute drive away, or if you are adventurous offers a hiking experience through the Blue Mountains to get there. There are several springs from the falls that you can explore and have your own private bath. Drive to Port Antonio and visit other attractions such as Frenchman's cove, Errol Flynn Marina, Blue Lagoon, Monkey Island, Somerset Falls, maroon Town and the Rio Grande.
Parking is on property and you can walk to the beach. However we would suggest a car for getting around to further areas e.g. Port Antonio
