We had a wonderful stay at the cabin!! Staying here brought back memories of childhood. This is in an excellent location, with beautiful dirt roads, privacy, but not too far (8-30 min) from everything. We loved biking around the house (felt safe with 3 little kids 2yr, 4yr and 7yr) and west shore road. We fished right from the beach at the house and even caught a few! (We brought our own poles). There are kayaks to use at the house, and that porch is a fantastic place for morning coffee. Make sure you pack water- they don’t advise you drink the water at the house. Jeff was a wonderful and very responsive host- I messaged him with many questions and he always responded promptly and kindly. We will definitely rent this property again, we cannot wait to go back!

Lovely setting. Great kitchen. Fenced yard was a big plus for dogs and little kids. House was spotless. Remember to bring water!

Our family loved staying at Jeff’s place. The large, private backyard right on the lake was the perfect place for our family to vacation. The house was comfortable and the location and views can’t be beat.

Everything we were looking for in terms of location, size, amenities & privacy. Comfortable/clean beds; extra blankets, pillows, quilts & towels/hand towels/facecloths. House is warm during the day, fans help-AC unit to cut the heat would be helpful. Nights cool and comfortable. Bottom level-recommend closing windows and using the dehumidifier during the day as it gets very moist but nice and cool for sleeping. Kitchen well appointed. Lawn is a great for games (eg corn hole)-bring your own-not provided. Swimming was great, zero weeds-bring water shoes due to a rocky bottom. For the money, wish there was a floating dock to swim out to and lie on. Spectacular sunsets. Local Citgo station has everything you need for food and drink. Don't miss farmers markets Wed/Sat; be sure to patronize Island establishments/farms to buy local. Caretaker, Steve, incredibly helpful and responsive. Can't say enough. Overall worth the stay with a group!

This peaceful, private cabin was absolutely beautiful. Right on the water with a gorgeous view of the Adirondacks, we could have stayed forever. The fenced property was perfect for the dogs who played to their heart’s content. We had a few issues that needed attention at the beginning of the week, and Jeff and his co-host were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
