Beloved 4-season family lake house surrounded by white pine and oak forests, on lake that goes for miles, comprised mostly of Crown land. In winter, excellent XC skiing, skating, snowmobiling and tobogganing opportunities abound. A+ hiking and road biking from the front door. Kayaks, canoe, and SUP for spring, summer and fall. In summer, massive west-facing floating dock for sun all day and fantastic sunsets. Perfect deep-water swimming, water trampoline. Wood stove, hot tub too! Spacious kitchen, dining and living room, with 17 ft windows. It comfortably sleeps three families, with accommodations for 20 in total in summer (16 in colder months as the bunkie is not heated). The main house is a three bedroom, four season home, with a heat pump, as well as back-up propane furnace and generator. Above the garage is a separate guest suite, and a third building is a bunkie. The house itself sleeps ten – or two families. There’s a master bedroom with a queen bed and a nearby guest room with two single beds, as well as a large loft bedroom with two queen beds and two singles. It has a master ensuite bathroom with a full tub + shower and two sinks, and a main bathroom with a stand-up glass wall shower. The guest suite sleeps a third family, with a queen bed in the main room, and two adjacent small rooms each with twin bunk beds, as well as a bathroom with shower, and kitchenette (counter, cupboards, mini fridge, hot-plate, sink). And there’s a bunkie with a queen bed, and two twin beds (no electricity, with rechargeable lanterns for light). There's a screened-in porch that overlooks the forest, outdoor dining table for 6, and Muskoka chairs nestled around a fire pit. A few steps down takes you to the hot-tub. Then three flights of stairs takes you to the west-facing shaded shore-dock and floating dock. You can dive off the end and will never get to the bottom (it’s 25+ ft). You can walk in slowly at the shore but it gets very deep quickly. Boating, canoeing and paddle boarding are fantastic on our lake, as it is a fairly narrow, long and deep lake comprised of mostly water-access cottages, and Crown land and nature preserve. In late winter when lake is frozen over you can walk or ski out onto the lake for miles. NOTE: This is our family cottage, and we only rent it out occasionally to help with expenses.
