Michelle's cabin in Staples, TX (Martindale on GPS) was cozy, private and pleasant in a safe and lovely pastoral setting. It was super clean and incredibly well-stocked - better stocked than any short term rental we have ever had, and we have had at least 20 different short term rentals. Michelle is super friendly, responsive and helpful. She is the best! Even though it is a tiny cabin, it had everything we needed. Four of us even cooked two different meals on Christmas day. The tv was packed with apps and had Spectrum cable, too! And the wifi was great. It was a little further out than I imagined when I booked it, but we ended up enjoying the ride to the various places we visited. Turned out it was in a great location from which to take day trips in the hill country. In addition, it was a lovely, serene place to return to when we had been out sightseeing or visiting our kids in Austin. Honestly, it felt like a little home away from home after being there for a month.

Our stay was great! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Michelle is awesome hostess! The people around us were very friendly! Michelle works very hard to provide “ a home away from home!”
