We are on the southern tip of the island. We are just north of the town of Vieux Fort. This is a quiet residential area. The beach and international airport are about a 5 to 10 minute drive. There is an excellent road for walking or hiking up to the Moule a Chique Lighthouse and you will encounter many walkers early morning and late afternoon to enjoy exercise and breathtaking views from the top of Moule a Chique.
Hiking to the Moule a Chique Lighthouse is a perfect way to start or end the day. Best value for the area. The grocery store and other small shops are just down the hill with a few restaurants and fast food options available. Also, local buses to other parts of the island are all located just a 15 min walk into town. In the evening and when shopping having a car or a taxi is advisable.

A car is recommended for convenience however, a personal driver or taxis are available. Parking on the property is free and there is a gate that is closed and locked at night. Local buses to near and far points are all in town. It is a 15-minute walk down into town, longer on the uphill return. The guests that use the buses are able to get around fairly easily most days except Sunday and Holidays when bus service is very limited. Taxi pick up and drop off should be arranged in advance.
