A perfect 24 hour stay in Barrow! Susan and Myron are fabulous hosts and have a great spot that is in walking distance to most attractions. I walked there from the airport. The place is very clean, and breakfast was fabulous! I went on a great tour recommended by Susan and had the opportunity to see a polar bear (wow!). Highly recommend!

Barrow is a great place to visit - it is unlike any place we've ever visited. Latitude 71 is a great place to stay! Myron was a wealth of knowledge and we enjoyed learning more about life in the Arctic. The Heritage Center has an incredible whaling exhibit - definitely worth checking out. Everything was exactly as advertised by Susan and Myron; we will stay again if we return to Barrow!

11/10 would recommend! Susan and Myron are community staples with a beautiful home in Utqiagvik. If you’re apprehensive about traveling to the northernmost community in the US.. You can rest easy knowing you’ll find all the comfort and amenities you’d find in your own home and more. Their home is immaculate with beds that’ll keep you warm/comfy through cold nights. The rules (and wifi) are posted so you clearly understand what to expect. Breakfast and Dinner are provided with a reasonable price. You’ll dine with other travelers and if you want, share your own stories. Susan and Myron are a team that deliver some delicious home cooked meals right to their table. They treat you with utmost respect and will give you insights on any questions you might have. If you have a chance to stay here you will not regret your decision. It’s only a 20 min walk or 5 min drive from the airport. Very accessible to the grocery store (Stuaqpak) and the heritage center museum. Other information and amenities you’d want are also available. Would stay again given the chance.

Myron and Susan were fabulous hosts. The home is comfortable and well appointed. I highly recommend staying here. The meals are incredibly delicious and they were very accommodating of food allergies. Take the tour. We saw everything we hoped to see and learned so much!
