We enjoyed our stay. It was fun to be next to a farm surrounded by horses. The house was clean, had a really nice open floor plan, and great features like upgraded fixtures and appliances. There are also a lot of unfinished projects and aesthetic repairs that are needed… it seems to be a work in progress. There were a couple of pretty significant issues that the owner said they would address for future guests.

Great location and view. People friendly but house needs maintenance and better stocking and cleaning. Highly disappointed that pool was filthy . they did come to clean but it still was not swimable first day and swam briefly second day but still worried about cleanliness. The day we left it looked better but chemicals should have been used and swept before we arrived. Feel we deserve a discount due to that since one of main reasons I chose that house was for pool. Lawn clippings needed to be blown off patio area and furniture cleaned. Entrance game room was very dirty. Couch recliner was broke, door knob came off on one door. Mattresses were not comfortable in any of 4 bedrooms we used. The refrigerator though very big and nice leaked water twice while there. Did not have enough towels considering no. Of people staying. Thankfully we had some beach towels. No can opener and please get rid of pans that can’t be used on nice stovetop since too confusing. House needs cleaning and repair

This was a very peaceful experience to share with my family. The kitchen was one of the best features. The host was very accommodating. The farm with horses and other animals was exciting and one most memorable moment of our trip. It was a surprise excursion not to miss. 🐎🐎🐎

The Good: The house was spacious & the scenery was really nice. The Bad: If your advertisement includes house with a pool you have to note when the pool is open &/or closed. The pool & patio areas were dirty. When i called, the host seemed annoyed & abruptly told me it was against the law to open any pool in Ohio b4 Memorial Day & offered no apology. This should be noted so that all guests know exactly what to expect when reserving this space. Also, the grass was tall and definitely needed mowing. The Ugly: Privacy was an issue as there weren’t any curtains on the front of the house. 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom were wide-open and since the property had non-stop visitors this was a major problem for me. The most upsetting part is we went grocery shopping & couldn’t get the stove to work. By the time the host responded it was very near check out time which meant we had to throw away food that we planned on cooking & then had to spend more money eating out. A huge bummer.
