Vicki’s place was absolutely magical! It was private and serene, yet close to all the activities the area has to offer. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The cabin feels like a warm, cozy hug from a dear friend. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. There is a screened in porch and Vicki made sure there was food in the bird feeder and nectar for the hummingbirds. We saw so many varieties of birds and marked some off our lifetime list. Vicki called us directly to make sure we got in ok and to see if we needed anything. I will have to politely disagree with the previous guest that said there was a lack of lighting. The cabin has tons of lamps which give it a peaceful feel at night with ample light. We LOVED our stay and will be back again soon. What a gem! Thank you Vicki!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very spacious and private, and Vicki reached out to make sure we had everything we needed.

This place was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The only issue we had were, although very comfortable, the beds were too high! My husband has problems with his hip and it was difficult for him to get in and out of bed. Overall it was a charming cabin and Vicki was very friendly and helpful.

While the cabin looks nice on the outside and the surrounding property is lovely, inside it was disappointing and discouraging. It’s an old cabin and old and rustic is okay, but maintenance and cleaning are indespensible. When the tub shower was turned on, the drain backed up instantly with yucky standing water. Assuming the tub had been cleaned after the previous guest, the cleaner would have known about the drain problem. We didn’t take showers there again for the remaining two nights stay—just too gross to stand in backed up water with stuff floating in it. The place looked (and smelled) like it hadn’t been vacuumed or dusted in ages. And so thoroughly cluttered with stuff that there’s hardly a place for the guest to set down their own stuff. So dimly lit that we used are headlamps several times to make dinner. This could be a great place with a good deep cleaning, maintenance, and decluttering.

Vicki is a fantastic host. She was very responsive and answered all of my questions. This was a great location with a great view of the stars at night. This was such a relaxing cozy little place to stay. Additionally, the neighbors to this airbnb were very kind as well and very sociable. One thing I enjoyed about staying here is that it was very quiet. Anyone who chooses to stay here will really enjoy it. Vicki also recommends some really good places for individuals to eat out at near the airbnb. Vicki provided wifi which helped me to have text messaging and making calls on my cell phone which I was surprised at considering that there is no cell phone service in the location that this airbnb is located at.
