Enjoyed our stay. Exactly as described and very peaceful and quiet spot in the Hill country not far from lost Maples and Garner State parks. This is very simple and small, but exactly what we looked for.

Nonnies cabin was just what we needed! It was very nostalgic for us as we spent many years at my husbands grandparents ranch, so it felt like home. Nature, peace and quiet, and the simple things to focus on. We made fires twice a day inside because it was winter and it brought us together around the fire, and making s’mores in the outside fire, watching old dvds at night reminiscing on some classics. It was exactly what we wanted to bring in the new year, present and calm and slowing down. Love love love the stars at night and the swing out front, and of course the back porch. Garner is extremely close and absolutely gorgeous. People in town are so friendly and many options for food and coffee, etc. Thanks Karen for sharing your family home away from home.

We loved our stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is well equipped. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful area, can see the mountains from the house. Close to the river access points and the small town of Leakey. Great family vacation and my kids loved it.
