We enjoyed your cabin immensely. It was very quiet and relaxing. We loved sitting out on the deck and looking at the beautiful view. It was private and out in the country, yet a quick drive into town. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and to barbecue a dinner. We enjoyed exploring the area for other meals. We highly recommend the homemade baked goods at the Leakey Mercantile Grocery Store. Temple‘s directions were easy to follow, and we had no trouble with the driveway but made sure we didn’t rent a small vehicle after reading previous reviews.

Gorgeous hill country panoramic views. Indeed a 'Hill Top Cabin' -- clean, cozy, comfortable house. Quiet, scenic retreat. Starry nights. Super friendly, responsive, and accommodating hosts. Was happy with entire experience. Will definitely be back! :-)

The view of the stars and Milky Way were spectacular! We loved sitting in the soccer chairs we brought -- placing them out on the walkway in front of the house -- looking for meteors and taking in the Milky Way that seemed to stretch from one horizon (over the cabin) to the other horizon. By sitting out front, you could use some of the larger trees to block a few lights from the nearest neighbors maybe a quarter mile away.
