Cassie was one of several in a team of people who manage several cabins on the very large sprawling lot. Although all cabins were full, had no idea because it was so quiet. I’m a cook. Have to say the kitchen’s accommodations were excellent for a weekend rental. Would not be difficult to stay an extended period of time. Management was very responsive to all questions, I quiries and needs. Highly recommended.

Garner state park is literally down the road. So beautiful! You do need to book a reservation for park entrance and it’s faster to do online. The whiskey house was amazing! They gave ample information and directions how to get there. We arrive after the sunset, but it was easy to find! The communication was excellent. They checked in multiple times before we arrived to make sure we had all the info we needed. They have a store on site. The property is beautiful. I was worried about parking, but there really is a lot of space. We had one car and 2 suvs at the whiskey house but easily could’ve fit 5 vehicles. The house is so charming!! I could just live there forever! 5 rooms with 2 or more beds. Two bathrooms. Heater/ac in the kitchen and main room. Extra portable heaters and fans available. Fully stocked kitchen. Personal fire pit in the backyard. A community fire pit in the front. Hammock, swing chair, & trampoline. The price we paid was a steal. We will definitely be returning!

My family and I had a great weekend. Place is pleasantly quaint. Upstairs had a musky smell but it was tolerable. Beds were not the most comfortable ones but they weren’t terrible either and there were plenty to choose from. Great for a large family gathering. Kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed the backyard setting. Kids loved the swing and trampoline. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place.
