Shelkies Shed was great. Between the great host, sweet pup, and their willingness to go over the top to make our stay great, I can't say enough good things. If you're looking for a great, quaint, place to stay look no further.

Selkie’s Shed was the perfect spot for our 4 night getaway trip to Burlington, Stowe, Essex Junction, Milton/Westford and Waterbury. Cecile’s adorable hideaway offered an exceptionally lovely and peaceful escape from our comedically non-cooperative vacation plans. Car breakdowns, luggage mix-ups, ski equipment problems… 40 hours of unplanned driving, you name it. But we have nothing but wonderful things to say about Cecile’s place. The beds (1 bed plus sofa) were just right for our three bears. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped! Laundry, bathroom, even a little entry area for our boots and coats. Everything was just perfect!!! Exceptionally well thought out. The location was excellent for our daily jaunts out to ski, shop, and eat. Bolton, Cochran’s and Stowe were all within easy reach. Cecile was attentive but not intrusive. We felt warmly welcomed and had no concerns. Will be sure to book this special place again on our next trip north!!! Thank you Cecile!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Cecile not only thinks of everything but is VERY accommodating and makes check in so easy. She is always accessible if you need anything or even just a recommendation for something. Everything is spotless, and as advertised. I highly recommend her place!!! We will be going back a third time!
