Beautiful getaway in the woods! I would highly recommend & hope to go again with my family in the future. Thank You!!! 😊
We loved staying in this beautiful home. It was off the beaten path and offered peace and quiet. A great place to relax and take in the surrounding beauty.
Pictures don’t do justice’s of how pretty it was in person . Accommodated all of our needs for our quick get away for the kids soccer tournament.
We had the best time with our son and five of his friends for his birthday weekend. The cabin was beautiful and we loved the layout—the master is so big and spacious and separate from the other bedrooms. We were not expecting to enjoy any peace and quiet on this trip so we were pleasantly surprised to have enough space for everyone to do their own thing—inside and outside! The bonfire was a blast and we had fun playing the horseshoes and corn hole Jessica provided. We brought more than we needed to because there were so many thoughtful touches and amenities provided. We will definitely be staying here again!
Here are some highlights about the area…

1. Downtown Prescott - 14 miles
The downtown area is amazing! They have events at the center of town surrounding the courthouse grounds all the time, in fact nearly every day during the summer months. You can spend days downtown exploring shops & museums, checking out restaurants & attending events.
Prescott is known as one of the Top 5 Western Towns in the United States. Legendary figures like Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp (who was a lawman here) and Doc Holliday lived Prescott for a portion of their lives here. Today, you can still immerse yourself in western history when you visit Whiskey Row's saloons in Downtown Prescott. Museums like the Sharlot Hall Museum and Phillen Museum and the Fort Whipple Museum share art, sculptures, and weapons from the early days. Guests can visit Arizona Territory’s first governor’s residence, a log cabin restored to its original look. Prescott Frontier Days is host to the World's Oldest Rodeo keeping alive the tradition of Prescott’s first rodeo that took place in 1888.

2. Lynx Lake - 8 miles
Lynx Lake is a 55-acre reservoir located just 8 miles north to the of the cabin on Walker Road. It is one of the most popular recreation areas in central Arizona. Mild weather, the cool ponderosa pine forest, trout fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain hiking, horseback riding, archaeological sites, and bird watching attract visitors from throughout Arizona. The lake was formed in 1952, when a dam was put in Lynx Creek, 6 miles below Walker.

The Olympus Cabin is located between the Walker and Potato Patch areas 10 miles south of the Costco in Prescott. When coming from I-17 into Prescott on Hwy 69, drive through Prescott Valley and turn left onto Walker Road just after you pass Costco. Follow Walker Road all the way to mile post 10, where we are located. **The last 2 miles are dirt forest road with some narrow, steep, and bumpy stretches. We recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Please drive slow, check the weather, and use caution.** We are the first left after you see mile post 10, on the SE corner of Walker Road and Misty Mountain Loop. Misty Mountain Loop is a private road and there is a chain blocking the road so you will have to pull down the steel post to drop the chain before driving past. Simply loosen the post from behind the horseshoe and let the chain fall to the ground. When you drive across the chain, place the post back in position so the chain blocks the road again. If you find the chain is down when you get there, please put it up. Having this chain up keeps traffic off our small private dead end road.
The driveway is about 100’ up the way on your left, can’t miss it. It is a steep but short paver driveway (only about 30’).
