Snow does accumulate so be prepared during winter of any weather advisories. 4 wheel drive required winter time to get to cabin, approx 4 miles of unpaved roads with steep inclines. Temperatures at the cabin are typically 35 degrees cooler than Phoenix, AZ and 5-10 degrees cooler than even downtown Prescott! 4 WD or Rear wheel drive is recommended during times of snow in Prescott. During the summer months a high clearance vehicle is recommended since the road the home is off of is a bit bumpy the last few miles. This family friendly lodge comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with 2700 square feet, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The back patio has a serene view of the pines of the Forest for you to enjoy from the deck while deer occasionally roam through the yard.
