We have 2 private bedrooms sharing 2 bathrooms in our Lodge amongst our other room types ,with free wifi ,cable tv and free breakfast, tea and filter coffee,we take all our guests each day to the best beach for surfing , make a beach camp by a cafe with internet and stay and surf together for the day ,we also offer surf lessons with a qualified instructor , professional surf coaching with video analysis or just rental ,From July to Nov please only request our rooms if you wish to surf with us . Double private rooms in Penichesurflodge B and B an atlantic beach side property on the Silver coast, in Peniche town affordable comfortable relaxing accommodation Its a home from home with 3 private ensuite rooms 2 private double rooms , 1 bunk room all with cable tv and wifi , 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens,a large comfy living room with a free computer ,wifi throughout,cable tv ,DvDs and balconies. Penichesurflodge is a family run business by Papoa Beach a beautiful cove that offers surfing ,fishing ,snorkling and spectacular sunsets, Peniche town is very popular for fishing and surfing ,the Lodge is walking distance to other beaches ,the 3km golden sandy beach (5 mins walk ) Supertubos home to the Ripcurl Pro comp.(5 min drive ),3 large supermarkets ,cafe/bars restaurants and shops. I am not a very hostel-guy, usually enjoying privacy, but this was one of the best stays overall. The hosts are very helpful, friendly and responsive. If you want to not be bothered by organizing surfing trips - host takes every day to the beach with best waves for the day. People who are staying were also incredible. Overall was an amazing experience. P.S. expect some direct British humor, which I enjoyed quite a bit
Claire and Duncan are excellent hosts and staying at their lodge was a true plaisirs. They are not only passionated about surf and friendly, but also flexible and comprehensive. I also took some surf lessons with Duncan and his son and it was a great experience. I absolutely recommend stay at the lodge !
We had a great time staying in Peniche & surfing with Claire and Dunkin. Special thanks as well for the surf lessons, really helpful.

The amazing scenery steps from the Lodge and the closeness of the amenities walking distance to 4 large supermarkets ,takeaways ,restaurants and shops .The sea is across the road ,it is a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the town ,with a beach across the road with surf , snorkling and lots of fishing all along the cliff edges and a scenic walk to the point of Papoa where you see views of Berlingas and all the North coast.
There are 4 close by large supermarkets ,cafes ,restaurants and shope all within 5 mins walk .
The next surfing beach is 5 mins walk down the road to Gamboa this is the start of the 3km bay with golden sands and surf all along to Baleal.
Supertubos is 5 mins drive or 15 mins walk from the Lodge
The bus services are great very cheap and comfortable ,we are 7 mins walk from the main bus station in Peniche ,we also take all our guests to the best beach to surf each day and make a comfy beach camp by a cafe with internet and stay and surf together for the day .

Penichesurflodge is run by mynHusband and I , we love the beach life, travelling and meeting people from all over the world, we love to surf and many other activities ,tennis ,golf,snorkling,cycling ,jogging and long coastal walks my husband has over 30 years surf experience of Peniche and surrounding areas he has lived in many exotic countries growing up he was born in West Indies ,I am a northern English girl who moved to the southwest of England at 17 as I loved the beach life.We both worked in tourism in the UK for the last 20 years, hotels, restaurants and bars ,we came to Peniche for our family holidays for the last 14 years and now all live here because we love it so much.and would love to share our knowledge with our guests. Our son is a sponsored surfer ,trains very hard and enters contests all over Europe.Our daughter surfs and enjoys shopping ,she goes to school and speaks beautiful Portuguese Penichesurflodge is situated in Peniche by a beautiful cove Papoa ,very close to all amenities ,restaurants ,cafe/bars ,shops, 4 large supermarkets, and other surf /bathing beaches ,so not only perfect in the summer for the relaxing getaway but also the winter great weather,surf ,cheaper accommodation ,in December the town is decorated and very festive ,also are close by surrounding towns,Obidos is a beautiful place to visit in December with its winter wonderland,snow ,stalls and an Icerink just 20 km away, Penichesurflodge is 200m (5mins walk) to the 3km long surfing beachbreak (The Bay)which leads to Baleal, ,1km (15min walk) from Supertubos ,home to the Ripcurl Pro with its perfect Barrels. We offer the whole Lodge to rent ,apartments (low season only ) or private rooms or shared ,the lodge has a homely vibe and is very relaxing, where you also can meet new friends from all different countries . Penichesurflodge is minutes from the beach Restaurants ,cafe/bars ,4 large supermarkets ,shops and banks. There is beautiful Papoa Beach across the road ,a private cove with scenic walks and spectacular sunsets.
