Fieldview Country Cottage is situated in attractive countryside just outside Beccles. It's the perfect base for exploring the Suffolk coastline, broads and Norwich. The Cottage has a large, family sizes bedroom upstairs with a king size bed. There is plenty of space for a travel cot and there are two single futon beds if you were planning on bringing little ones. There is a small room off the main bedroom which can fit one of the futon beds or a travel cot if you would prefer one of your children to sleep separately. The room is very spacious for a couple and would comfortably suit a family of 4 or 5 if you don't mind sleeping in the same space. The cottage is not suitable for 4 adults. Downstairs there is an open plan recently renovated kitchen/lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and there is private parking just outside of the apartment. There is also a brand new shower room downstairs. There is a large TV downstairs and a smaller one in the bedroom upstairs. The cottage is separate but on the grounds of house and our intimate camping/glamping site 'The Wildings at Elms Meadow'. We are passionate about biodiversity and the environment and providing a space for guests to reconnect with nature. Much of our meadow is left to grow wild and we've tried to create diverse habitats to encourage biodiversity. Fieldview has a small outdoor, private court yard and guests are more than welcome to walk around the site, there are lots of areas for little ones to explore including a wooden playhouse. You are also welcome to use our front field to have a fire or bbq in when it is not in use. We ask that guests to be respectful of the plants and wildlife.

What a lovely place to stay! Anissa’s place was a perfect base from which to explore Suffolk. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We did some long early morning walks and went back to the cottage for a lazy afternoon as the weather wasn’t great - it was so cosy! Communication was brilliant- Anissa replied to queries and requests quickly - and check in/out was easy. I am so very pleased we found this place and I would definitely recommend it!

Anissa's 'Lodge' cottage is in a very peaceful area just off a tarmac track through lovely open countryside just a few mins off the A143. We found Anissa to be very responsive to a few initial requests/queries we had upon entering the property and a couple of practical points we raised were addressed very quickly. The 'lodge' is very comfortable, warm and has everything you'll need for a much needed getaway. The attic bedroom is particularly cosy with comfortable double bed and soft chairs to relax in with lovely window views out over the fields. The nearby town of Beccles which is just 5 to 6 mins drive away down the A146 with a large Morrisons at the town entrance for any food needed.
We had a great stay, my mum and I plus two kids. The cottage was clean and well presented, I had no worries putting my crawling 10month old down on the floor and letting her explore which is certainly not always the case in rental places! We had some problems getting the under floor heating to turn on but Anissa was super responsive and we got it figured out and the place was lovely and warm after that. My 4yr old daughter loved exploring the grounds and the playhouse was a big hit! The option of having a highchair, stair gate and travel cot was much appreciated. We did bring a baby bath as there is only a shower (as shown in photos) but otherwise we didn't have to bring anything other than our clothes etc, a big bonus when traveling with young children! There was even a good selection of books and toys for the kids. The location was fab, felt tucked away/rural but was a short drive to amenities. We would highly recommend a stay here to anyone and will definitely be back!

Fieldview Country Apartment is just outside of the market town Beccles (8 min drive) and is fabulously located for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The charming seaside town of Southwold and Georgian village of Walberswick are a 25 minute drive away. Norwich is a 30 minute drive and also accessible by bus. Lots to do with children!
Enjoy many a walk around the countryside lanes from the site. There are many fabulous farm shops nearby to purchase local produce.
Secure car parking on site.
Beccles is a rail, coach and bus transport hub.
