Gorgeous stay, had an absolute ball. Great walks, views and location. Very friendly host, even bought our dog treats! Thankyou so much. Highly recommend!

Had the makings to be an awesome holiday but it lacked what was advertised. It's very rare I get disappointed but unfortunately here me and my wife were. The place didn't have Wifi and didn't offer alternatives like board games or a DVD player which would have been fine if we knew ahead of time. We had no welcome pack to just help us find things to do. The view we saw in the photos wasn't the one we got. Trees pretty much obstructed it. The cutlery and plates we had to wash again for they weren't washed properly and we had to request for bin liners. The owner was lovely guy though and always cleaned the Jacuzzi. We didn't though have a timetable on when it would be done which did take away from the privacy but would have been part of the welcome pack I gather. There's no bug light catcher to reduce the bugs infesting the place and no fan so it's boiling. Stove extractor did not work. For the price we expected more and we made the best of a not grand experience.

We had such a lovely stay!! The host Stan (& his dog Meg) were so helpful and accommodating, giving us recommendations for walks & pubs & making sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub had a perfect view of the sunset & the area was so peaceful, we would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!! Exactly as pictured, plus a complementary bottle of wine on arrival - such a lovely touch :)
