Charming Nest on Bowen Island was a lovely place to stay. The house is 2 story and framed in beautiful cedar. It is very well maintained. The driveway is well labeled and the entry is on an incline so is a bit tricky to navigate. I backed in as I have a medium sized SUV and did not want to chance backing out into the roadway. The house is squeaky clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The bedroom was a nice size and bedding was comfy as were the pillows. There was a guidebook on the table which was fab and provided all the details about the island. My one concern was there was an odd smell when I first came in the door. It was a musky smell, perhaps the septic system or a chemical fertilizer smell. It was only in the entryway and was not upstairs where I stayed. Overall a great, safe, secure, well-situated place to stay when visiting Bowen Island.

Had a brilliant stay. There was heavy snow fall and an electricity blackout when we arrived on Bowen. Andrey and Olga provided us with torches and candles for this unusual event! And in the morning Olga also made us a huge spread for breakfast! Excellent hosts and lovely place near the beach, would highly recommend.
