Not only is their place absolutely stunning and full of character (we especially loved the rooftop balcony), the hosts themselves are delightful. We were greeted by the warmest welcome ever received with delicious local nibbles and cava which after a long journey was really appreciated. The location was just amazing, the market next door was a real treat, everywhere is walkable. No issues during check in or check out, everything was exactly as described and the hosts offered to help with everything should we need them to and provided lots of useful tips for getting around. No noise in the apartment at night, beds were comfortable. We actually loved the stairs up to the apartment, they added on to making it feel like a local adventure. Thank you again, you made our stay in Barcelona a lot more special.

This place was great for two friends. We each had our own bedroom. The bathroom was clean and the shower felt great. The kitchen was cute and had everything we needed to cook our own food, which we did! The roof top terrace was everything! The weather was perfect...and it is about five degrees warmer on the terrace...so we were in our bathing suits dancing and drinking Cava everyday from 4pm to sundown. Glorious! We could walk everywhere and come back to our little home in the center of everything. The Catalina Market was next door for food shopping. Excellent restaurants, shopping, and cultural icons of Barcelona just outside our door. There are some stairs to get to the top floor, but they did not phase us at all. There was a minor sewer smell in the place the first day...some piping issues that are getting fixed downstairs...but Diana and Darren took care of any issue we had immediately. They made us feel at home. Thanks for a great trip! Viva Barcelona!

I would strongly recommend a stay here. Diana and Darren couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. The apartment was the perfect size for us, me, my partner and our son. I think it might be a bit of a squash for 4 adults although it had a lovely terrace and if it was warm and dry, the space expands considerably. The place was brilliantly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The bedrooms are at the back of the apartment and we had no issue at all with noise. The location is spot on with everything walkable or an easy metro ride away. The only disadvantage I can think of is the 90 steps it takes to get into the apartment. Yowch! Although it does lift you above the hustle and bustle of the square. But if you are unfit or have lots of luggage……. Otherwise, book now!

Well what can I say.. this place is absolutely stunning. The location is fantastic.. the hosts are brilliant and give you lots of local tips.. the little touches are lovely. The only downside are the 88 narrow stairs you have to climb (especially with heavy suitcases) but on the upside of that is the amazing view and the outside space is well worth it and would 100% go back again and again. Thank you x
