Perfect place to wrap up our end of summer vacation. We stayed for 3 nights and everyone in our party, ages 4 to 74, had a memorable time. There was plenty to do around the house like relax on the large wrap around porch, bird 🦅 watch with the provided binoculars, swim 🏊‍♀️ kayak, paddle boat, and fish 🎣 . We are most meals here with the well stocked kitchen and BBQ grill outside. Farm fresh eggs at breakfast was provided by the properties resident hens, such a treat. We also got to roast marshmallows at the lakeside fire-pit. Lots of comfortable space to sleep and black out shades useful for that endless summer sun ☀️. I also appreciated the abundance of towels, blankets and pillows. Loved that there was a fun washer and dryer. Lastly, I must comment on how clean this place was, not a speck of dust or grime. This place is well maintained. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time in Alaska!

The bald eagle, the mallards, the grebes, the loons, the finches, the mockingbird, the fish jumping in the lake, the otter, the trees, the lake itself, with the mountains in the distance ... all was as beautiful as we could hope for. We were in Wasilla to visit relatives who live nearby. Watching my autistic son learn how to paddle a kayak under the tutelage of his younger second cousins was priceless. He was the first to spot the bald eagle on our first full day ... quite a feather in his cap that he was the first to see it. My grandnieces, when they were with us, also enjoyed fishing from the dock ... and watching the stickleback minnows in the shallows. The house was roomy enough for the four of us and quite comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the outdoor grill was perfection for our cooking needs. We also enjoyed visits to Talkeetna Village and the Musk Ox Farm in Palmer. We are definitely planning another trip and will try to book this house again.

Charming and spacious with deluxe views. Special treats throughout including fresh eggs from her chickens! Incredibly relaxing-what a treasure!

Outstanding stay. This was a business trip but the home made it feel more like a vacation. Brenda is very professional and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Really lovely and quiet house right on Finger Lake. Since it's winter, we could watch the ice fishermen, moose and planes landing and taking off on the ice during the day. At night the stars are amazing. They even have several pairs of binoculars available to watch in the distance. Great hosts, very responsive and they even bring fresh eggs from their henhouse. We are local and needed a place to stay while our house repairs were finished. I'd definitely recommend to friends and family.
