Oaksey is an old English village in an unspoilt corner of north Wiltshire. It's a small village, full of character, with a 12th C church, village shop and post office and a school, and on-and-off a village pub! The area is spread thick with footpaths, including several that start within a stone's throw of the house. North Wiltshire is a popular area for cycling as we are set in gentle rolling hills, yet only a few miles from the escarpment of the Cotswold Hills so you have as much variety as you need. Five minutes drive away the lakes of the Cotswold Water Park begin, where there are outdoor activities all year round.

Oaksey is 3 miles from Kemble where there are direct trains to and from London every hour. We are 15 minutes from Cirencester, which has several direct coaches to Victoria, London, every day. We are 15 minutes drive from Malmesbury, an hour from Bristol and Oxford and 1.5 hrs from Birmingham.
