The treehouses are located on a large jungle property away from the hustle and bustle, but only a few minutes walk on beautiful jungle trails to two of the world’s most magnificent beaches: Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones. The property is about a 10 minute walk inland from the headland that separates the two beaches.
At Nosara Treehouses, you have the best of both worlds - a tucked away, private location that is only minutes away from beaches and restaurants. Enjoy birds and monkeys all around you by day and the star-filled sky by night.
Nosara has consistent surf, beautiful waves, warm water, stunning beaches, spectacular sunsets, a rich yoga culture, hot weather, great food, abundant wildlife and relaxed vibes!
Nosara happens to be located in one of only five blue zones in the world, where residents enjoy an extraordinarily long life span - many residents live to over 100 years old. The area is ideal for those looking to relax and is great for couples, friends and families.
Costa Ricans (Ticos) are known to be incredibly friendly and embrace a positive approach to life. You’ll hear a lot of “Pura Vidas.” This means pure life/simple life and Ticos will say it to say hello, goodbye and to say everything’s cool.
So many studies have shown that being in nature boosts our sense of well-being and mental health. In Nosara, you will have tropical trees and lush jungle plants all around you. There are many healthy activities available locally, including surfing, yoga, zip-lining through the tree tops, horse riding, canoeing/paddle boarding, biking and just walking on the jungle trails and the beaches or swimming in the ocean. There is an awesome new skate park too.
Ostional, one of the world’s few nesting sites for Olive Ridley turtles, has arribadas where turtles return to lay their eggs on the beach. You can also watch the baby turtles hatching and making their way to the ocean. This is a 15 minute drive away and can only be seen at certain times of the year.
Nosara has jaw-dropping sunsets and it’s a local ritual to meet up with family and friends for sunset at the beach. You’ll see every color in the sky for a magical experience that connects you more closely with nature’s rhythms.
You’ll be able to try delicious smoothies made from tropical fruit like pineapples, papayas, bananas and mangoes, which grow abundantly here. There are also lots of great local restaurants to try.

Jungle trails lead from the property and take you to many of Nosara's gems. La Luna, one of Nosara's best restaurants, is on the beachfront at Playa Pelada, only a 10 minute walk away. North Guiones, where you'll find lots of shops and restaurants, is an 8 minute walk away.
You could also rent a car (4x4 recommended) or a golf cart, quad or side by side to be able to get around and explore the area more easily.
