The house was amazing. Big, beautiful, and AC units in the bedrooms and living room made it very comfortable at night. Conveniently located near several resorts for fun things to do and spa services. Many local tours were willing to do pick ups at the resorts as well so it was easy to do other fun things across the island. The beach was just across the road and was wonderful listening to it at bedtime. Snorkeling was pretty good (reef shoes provided), and beautiful sunsets, Rita’s cooking was absolutely fabulous (really really amazing!) and her son Donal was a wonderfully safe driver and fantastic tour guide.

We were looking for a nice place in the main island of Viti Levu having not committed to an expensive week on a private island nor a week in Nadi. We looked for places to stay along the coral coast and Philip's place was well worth it for me and 3 other members of my family driving down in our rental car. There's a large room that my girlfriend and I shared, a smaller room for my mom and a medium sized bedroom for my brother that had 2 additional small beds that we had left unused. We spent a lot of time snorkeling in the coral reefs just a 20 meter walk from the front door. Every day consisted of sipping an espresso at the nearby cafe planet, doing some activity nearby such as the bula coffee tour or checking out the sigatoka market, followed by snorkeling to our leisure. I loved how close everything is to Philip's airbnb, and also the amazing wildlife both in and out of the water. We even saw a coconut crab! I highly highly recommend this place to stay. Great place to stay. Near the Outrigger resort where you can go swim and use some facilities, but you have your own space. If you have a rental car you can easily go into Sigatoka for food/groceries. The outdoor market is fun. Very comfortable on the patio. Quiet road and friendly people.

A great spot opposite the beach, a few noisy neighbours at times, but it was during the lead up to Xmas, Rita was a saviour.

my family and i stayed at Sunset for 9 days. We immediately felt like we were at home when we arrived. We found we had what we needed for our stay. The big couch in the lounge was an added bonus for our family nights in. So convenient for snorkelling for us and the kids and everything we needed to go snorkelling was provided. The transport through Rita and Donal was great! they took us into town for shopping anytime we needed and also took us to the waterfall for a day out. We brought alot of our food with us and the only thing we wished was at the property was a bbq. Other than that we made do with what we had. The 2 eateries (crab shack and beachside bar) serve amazing dishes (definitely recommend the kokoda) All in all the property was exactly what my family and i needed and it ticked all the boxes for us. Main room bed is the comfiest, all rooms have good aircon. Lots of frogs around at night but they don't bother you. Make sure to pack mozzie spray and take your own snacks.
