Couldn't have been happier with our stay. The apartment was absolutely pristine and our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Located right in downtown Funchal, there were plenty of restaurants right outside our door. The harbor is a quick walk away to take any boat tours and the main flower festival attractions were very close. There were plenty of windows along the street to let in a breeze while still providing excellent noise reduction when closed. The shower was small but not uncomfortable and had great water pressure with plenty of hot water. They even left us delicious little cakes to welcome us which made us feel right at home. Excellent value and exceeded expectations!

We had a great stay at Jason and Monica’s place! The location was perfect for being near city center and Old Town with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Monica was very responsive and provided a list of recommendations of places to see and restaurants nearby the apartment. The apartment itself was clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ici, l’emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Funchal et sa région. Jason et Monica nous ont fourni beaucoup d’informations pour en profiter au maximum, il y a même un guide en français et ils ont été très attentionnés ( recommandation pour ne pas rater le festival du rhum par exemple !). Nous avons aussi vraiment apprécié l’italien au bas de la rue aussi bien pour ses délicieuses pâtes en retour de rando que la charcuterie à la coupe pour les pique niques. La literie est confortable, tout est en excellent état, bien équipé, la machine à laver bien pratique! Nous ne pouvons que recommander chaleureusement !!

Jason et Monica ont toujours été très réactifs et nous ont communiqué toutes les informations utiles. L’appartement était très propre et à proximité des lieux touristiques et vie de quartier. Même si l’appartement est en centre ville, il est au calme pour dormir. Juste un conseil pour ceux qui louent une voiture pendant le séjour. Il n’y a pas de places gratuites. Il faut garer sa voiture dans un parking à proximité et prendre une carte pour payer 7€ la journée au lieu de 15€. Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Et nous recommandons vivement cet appartement si vous venez à funchal.

As first time visitors to Funchal, we were so very fortunate by the quality of Jason & Monica's 2 bedroom apartment and with it being so very close by foot to everything in Funchal. We will definetly be back and we'll will stay for much longer next time. Kerry and family from Australia. (stayed 4 nights in April 2024).
