Enjoy the Alaska wilderness with our guest suite as your home base. The private entrance leads to your own kitchen, dining, full bathroom, and living areas. Sleep in your private bedroom with a queen bed. Or enjoy the views from the living room from the pull out sofa bed. No matter what window you're looking out, the amazing mountain views will never disappoint. Right outside your private entrance, there is an observatory room. Where you can star gaze with the telescope or sit and relax. An original homestead that was built in the early 1980s and slowly added on through the years. Previous owners built a one of a kind home and loved sharing their home with guests from all over. I want to continue what they did and open my property for anyone who wants to come and enjoy a peaceful place surrounded by mountains and wildlife.

Phenomenal views of the mountains, located right in glacier view which is very remote, no open restaurants or grocery stores nearby if visiting outside of summer months. In summer there may be 1 or 2 restaurants open. The scenery is truly unbeatable here and it is very peaceful and calm. The apartment is cute with plenty of places to sit and hang out, and the kitchen and bathroom have warm running water which was hard to find for us in winter in Alaska. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean. The hosts communicated well and they even shared some personally caught smoked salmon, moose sausage, and farm fresh eggs. Check out the glacier tours down the road and the helicopter tours from sheep mountain lodge. Also Greatland adventures is the best for aurora tours.
Shana was a great host and super quick to answer any questions. The place itself was beautiful! The views immaculate and every thing was super clean, neat and fresh! Perfect for 4 people. There was an extra single pull out coach for 4+ people but that was a bit uncomfortable. Overall amazing stay, thank you Shana!

We absolutely loved our stay here! It is the most special community and area…and the views from here are hard to leave. Place is fully furnished with everything you need, just pack your food and enjoy a nice secluded stay! Shana is a gem!! She is so helpful with recommendations and seems to genuinely loves to make sure you enjoy your time! We will be back!
This was honestly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed. Shana was amazing and super detailed in all of her instructions, making it incredibly simple to check in. She also gave us recommendations on local places. Inside, Shana went beyond on making the place feel like home, including snacks and board games. I wish I would have had more time to spend at this beautiful location. The view is breathtaking.

Glacier View is a very small spread out community. Everyone out here chooses to live here for the peace and quiet as well as the amazing views and endless amounts of wildlife. There is nothing like being able to step out your front door breath in the fresh mountain air and not hear anything put the birds chirping. If you are an outdoor enthusiast or just want a great place to get away, then you have found the perfect place.
Out here the best way and only way to get aroundis with your vehicle whether that be a rental car or your own. There is plenty of trailer parking if you want to bring any sort of toy you may have to go exploring in.
