We decided to visit this part of Costa Rica that we heard about. We found Rosibel Caribbean Villas and it was a gem in the jungle. The place is just a few minutes from the beach and downtown Puerto Viejo. The place itself was very nice. It's tucked away in a private neighborhood, so quiet and peaceful. Safety is not a concern. It's gated and locked for extra measure with plenty of private parking. The hosts are super nice! They are actually from the US, so they speak fluent English and Spanish. They were around and helpful even though we didn't really need them. Puerto Viejo is a chill little beach town with beaches, shops, and restaurants. Ricardo and Mary are quite familiar with the locals, so they'll guide you if you're in need of any suggestions. We traveled to different parts of Costa Rica and I have to say this was our favorite! If you're lucky you might even spot a sloth hanging out in the trees!! Our trip was way too short and we definitely hope to come back in the future!

I needed a place to stay last minute with my fiancé and found Rosibel Villas Caribeñas and I’m so happy with the results and our stay. The villa is gorgeous and modern. In the middle of the jungle surrounded by trees and greenery. It is private, secure and very tranquil. We even got to see and hear the congo monkeys! Ricardo is very attentive and made our stay very pleasant. Will definitely be back with some family and friends next time. A++++
