Pros: -BEAUTIFUL outdoor patio area/space & wonderful pool -Property Manager Enrique is EXCELLENT, respectful & professional. He TRULY cares about the guest(s) -Very modern inside, rooms extremely spacious, bathrooms very nicely done Cons: -W&D were offered as a courtesy & should be included when one rents there. -Water pressure in kitchen was awful & water pressure in the main bathroom was horrible. At times no water at all in the 2nd bathroom. -Property was only cleaned 2x although we stated we were ok with 4x during our 2 week stay -Owner became very defensive when feedback was shared. He offered a FULL refund for the 2 weeks, we declined it to be fair to him. However, we asked him for a $200 refund due to basically not having proper water (turns out both pumps were bad & had to be replaced) & he refused. We had to get Airbnb involved and THEY gave us a $200 refund. -Location is not ideal without a car, extremely far to walk on mostly rocked roads. Tuk Tuks can be expensive.

Beautiful property! There was a host there to greet us and make sure we got settled in. Everything was a pictured in the photos. I would stay there again and again. It was a great experience.

The villa was immaculate and very comfortable. The staff on site, Enrique & Johanna, were friendly, helpful & took their time showing us around the villa explaining how everything works. Whilst the villa is a little secluded this was more than made up by the peace & quiet of the location. We would definitely stay again.

No words can describe Casa Caranda. When we finally found the house we were a little frazzled and frustrated as the directions weren’t so clear to even our local driver. Cahuita is mentioned in the location however it is not in Cahuita. Nevertheless we were greeted at the house by Enrique (who would turn out to be a godsend over our stay). Once inside all three of us breathed a collective sigh of relief and then a collective WOW! The house is just fabulous! The details like the tall doorways and high ceilings, the slate black siding on the outside, the bidet in the master bathroom etc made the house feel really modern. Yet this did not take away from the feel of the authenticity of this Costa Rican villa. The heavy dark wood, the furnishings, floors, and decorations throughout all had that charm that is CR. The shared pool was beautiful and the outdoor space was serene. I’d definitely stay here again. Little off the beaten path but it was fine as we rented a car.

La pasamos excelente, lugar muy tranquilo para descansar. El único inconveniente que tuvimos fue que. no contaban con toallas para la piscina.
