Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Cozy bedroom and private bath. Shared access to LR with fireplace and antique work table. Located in scenic Milan. Minutes away from Rhinebeck and Red Hook. Kingston, Pine Plains, Millerton, Millbrook, Hudson nearby. Lovely villages, dining, hiking, leaf peeping in heart of the Hudson Valley! Amtrak 15 mins away. Bard College Performing Arts Center and much more! We have two friendly doodles, happy to receive belly rubs! Located on the ground floor of our two story home, with garden and wooded views on 6+ acres. Wild turkeys, fox and owls abound. Majestic towering maple and oak trees surround our home creating a peaceful cocoon of natural surroundings.

I would highly recommend staying with Jill. It felt like I was living at home again and I felt very safe. The surroundings are so beautiful and Jill is so friendly and ready to help with anything you need. Jill’s home is pristine, so clean and cozy. I greatly enjoyed my stay and will hopefully be back for next years Sheep and Wool Fesitval.
It was so lovely staying with Jill. I felt so safe and welcomed, which is the feeling I am looking for traveling as a solo woman. I was visiting my daughter for parents' weekend at Bard College, which is 15 beautiful minutes away with a few food options and towns in between. The two dogs, Esme and Ruby, could not be sweeter. The bedroom and bathroom have everything you need and could not be more comfortable for 1 or two people. Jill's house is beautiful and everything Jill describes is accurate. I would highly recommend it and will be sure to stay there again when I retune. My daughter is a freshman, so I plan to be back many times. Thank you!
What a special time! Jill and her family are the best! Their home and property were so pretty and welcoming! My room was warm and cozy as promised! Neat and clean and serene and close to nature! I even got to see an eagle zoom through the yard! I hope to return this winter for another stay!

We are located at the top of a wooded private road, not far from the Taconic (10 mins) in a rural and scenic town. We have owls, crickets and frogs at night and are surrounded by lovely tall, mature trees.
Rhinebeck village is nearby, considered by many to be the heart of the Hudson Valley, and offers excellent dining, boutique shopping, farmers market, indie films, and much loved traditions (porchfest, sheep & wool festival, sinterklaas to name a few!)
We are close to the magnificent Hudson River and surrounded by historic estates, including FDR Springwood, Vanderbilt, Mills Mansion, Wilderstein, Clermont and the spectacular Olana, home to Frederic Church.
This is a great place to be for weekend getaways and a 2 hour train ride north from NYC.
Rhinecliff train station offers Amtrak service and is located in the sweet village of Rhinecliff along the beautiful Hudson River.
Taconic State Parkway is 10 mins away.
