The Bronx has lots of neighborhoods, one of them is Pelham Parkway, not too far, not too close to Manhattan. The house is located at the boundary with Morris park Neighborhood. Walk to Luciano's and Emilio's Pizzerias, La Masa, and Patricia's Restaurants, Big Deals supermarket, or walk to White Plains Road/Lydig Ave shopping area and find pizzerias, supermarkets, fruits and vegetables stores, pharmacies, banks, starbucks, dunkin donuts, covenience stores, and more. About two blocks away you will find The Pine, an Italian restaurant.
All previous guests find this neighborhood safe, nice and quiet, only with the normal city noises. The house has a good size front yard and back yard with plenty of plants, the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Garden are at walking distance, and three blocks away, guests can enjoy a walk on Moshoulu/Pelham Greenway to go to Pelham Bay Park, which is more than three times the size of Manhattan's Central Park. Pelham Bay Park is the City's largest park property. Visitors to the park enjoy miles of bridle paths and hiking trails, Orchard Beach, the Bartow-Pell Mansion, two golf courses, and a breathtaking 13-mile saltwater shoreline that hugs Long Island Sound. And while in that area why not visit City Island where you will find plenty of seafood restaurants. City Island and Orchard Beach are accessible by the the number 12 bus, which can also can take you shopping our Bay Plaza Mall. There's a lot to discover and do in the Bronx, visit Bronx Little Italy, Vancortland Park, a section of the Empire StateTrail is in the Bronx, Yankee Stadium, the Bronx counts with two NYC Ferry stops, one in Soundview and another in Throgs Neck. The ferry is a different way to explore and enjoy this fantastic city.

The house is near the 2 and 5 trains that run 24/7 and go to Manhattan and Brooklyn. The buses nearby are the 12, 22, and 39. The Metro North line is 15 minutes away on the 12 bus. The 12 bus also goes to City Island, Orchard Beach, Bronx Little Italy, upper manhattan, and Bay Plaza Mall. The southbound 39 bus will take you to the NYC ferry at Soundview to go to midtown and downtown Manhattan . The ferry also goes to Brooklyn, Queens, and Roosevelt Island. The last stop in Manhattan is Wall Street which is a short walk to the free Staten Island Ferry. One way trip on the NYC ferry would costs $6.75, because the bus fare is $2.75 and the ferry fare is $4. You can bring your bicycle on the ferry for an extra dollar. Tickets can be bought online or at the ferry ports.
Guests can also enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Pelham Parkway path that goes to City Island and Orchard Beach.
