Whether you are here to excercise and adventure or just visit local family, our accommodation offers the perfect base. ​ Laal Yan is separate from our main house, with a small step up into the private entrance and features on-street parking. Located in a rural village, just 3 miles outside of the Western Fells. Our picturesque views and friendly village makes the perfect getaway for holiday makers to rest and recuperate between exploring the Lake District. Cars are essential here as there are no other transport links to this village. But our close proximity to the lakes, fells and local towns make it easy to zip around to your hearts content. Cockermouth - 5.4miles, Workington - 4.3miles, Ennerdale - 6.3miles, Buttermere - 9.5miles. Bus routes to and from the lakes from our surrounding towns are excellent and regular. Travel information is included in welcome pack on site. The Lake district’s well maintained paths, bridle ways and mountain bike trails offer fabulous opportunities for exploring and with an abundance of local attractions, quaint coffee shops and jaw-dropping views, you won't want to miss a thing.
