First time for us and our two hounds to stay at Claire’s Cottage and we absolutely loved it !! The weather was miserable when we arrived and the cottage was so warm and cozy - we felt right at home! Beautiful furnishings and a lovely large kitchen and everything spotlessly clean. A lovely quiet setting as well and close to some great dog walks ! We will definitely be back !!

Short, last minute break. cottage was spotless, warm and well equipped. It had everything and more we could have wished for. off the beaten track, so very peaceful, but still within driving distance of Cockermouth and Workington for shopping. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Had a lovely and peaceful stay at Lamb Garth. Claire gave plenty of advance information and was responsive to questions before and during the stay. The cottage was easy to find, parking space was right outside the door. The property was spotless. A lovely welcome gift and fresh farm milk was left in the fridge. Spacious kitchen and lounge / dining area. I used the double room, very comfortable bed, good sized room. The main shower was hot and powerful - great way to wake up! This was a great find, it’s down a country road so will need your own transport, incredibly peaceful. Enjoyed it so much I have now booked again for next week.

A very enjoyable stay for the long Easter weekend in a beautiful part of the country. Very convenient for visiting our son in Rowrah. Lovely clean and well-equipped cottage, with comfortable lounge & dining area. Plenty of spare blankets for the beds even though they were not needed. Great touch of the local fresh milk and bread on arrival along with the teas and coffees. Would not hesitate to book again.
