沃伦(Warren) · 袖珍小屋 · 1室0床1.5卫 · 可住2人 · Magical & Spooky Mirror House in the forest
The Mirror house is located up a small hill, about 1/4 mile walk into a 30 acre, forested property. It is entirely off-grid (no electric, has an outhouse) but has a nice propane stove inside and is insulated for very cozy winter stays. The bed is Queen, fully made. The house is covered floor to ceiling with framed mirrors and decorated with unusual, spooky items-in the afternoon rainbows abound from the hanging crystals. There is a fire pit, and drinking water inside. Shower available May-Sept. This space is very private and away from our house, which is also on the property, and also well-distanced from our other Yurt rental on the other side of the property. Both have their own out-houses, trails, and amenities. We have 30 acres and lots of walking paths right on the land for relaxing or for your dogs to explore freely. Guests are encouraged to walk, build cairns's, build campfires in the provided spaces, and earth-friendly art supplies are provided upon request (please let us know ahead of time if you'd like some crafts provided) in the rental if you want to make outdoor art installations. It's a lovely spot to stay and take advantage of all of the activities on offer in the White Mountain area, or to cozy up around a campfire and unplug for a few days in seclusion. There are some lawn chairs outside as well as fire pit (If you want to cook on the fire pit, that's welcome, but please bring a camp stove if you'd like something more and utensils, either way). The Mirror House is .2 miles into the woods, on top of a hill, so, you'll can relax in the quiet and beauty of the White Mountain area. The shower (available May-Sept) is located at the parking area in a small wooden building that included another compost toilet. You’ll have to walk out from the tiny house to use it. It does have hot water and great pressure. A medium walk and intermediate hike (the first part is a steep-ish hill with a well worn trail) to the space required, very easy for backpacker's or those accustomed to outdoor activities. The house is available in the Winter as well and is heated and insulated. For those who would like to snowshoe out- we can provide snowshoes to you, or if you are in the area for the many snowmobile trails, you're welcome to snowmobile to the location (on your own snowmobile. Many come to this area with their outdoor vehicle trailers for the trails, but we don't provide the vehicle). In winter we can provide a sled (and an extra hand if desired) to help you bring out your items. If you'd like to have a fire, you'll need to bring or forage your own firewood. You likely won't have cell service here (Verizon), though some do (Any other service provider). Wifi is only accessible from the trail entrance or upper parking area. For a lot of people, this is a welcome break from the world. The outhouse is a few yards from the Mirror House and we keep it as clean as possible. It is newly built, wooden, and rustic. The entrance faces away from the house, enjoy the view of the forest while you sit!
Wonderful location with a wonderful woodsy and artsy experience! We would definitely come back again to experience the seasons in the woods!
The tiny home was exquisitely decorated. I have never seen more beautiful stars in my life! The disco ball on the ceiling really is a vibe! The creepiest part for me was the guest book on the side table. Take a peek.
We were heading north to see the eclipse, and wanted a special stay for the occasion. This mirror house, in the ancient mountains, was exactly what we needed! Beautiful area, unique stay, hope to come back some time!
The Spooky Mirror cabin was an amazing stay. Loved the seclusion in the woods. There is something wondrous about sleeping in nature. Hike up the hill in the dark was challenging , made us new memories and a bunch of laughs though. Chelsy described everything great in the listing, one of favorite stays at an air bnb !! Will definitely stay again if in the area!! 🖤🖤🖤
We are minutes away from the White Mountain National Forest and the town of Warren is itself made up a large amount of Conservation. This is an amazing area to set up a home base for hiking, river rafting, kayaking/canoeing, and all kinds of motorsports. Lake Tarleton is 15 minutes away for boating or Kayaking (we have two kayaks available to use, if you have a roof rack) and there are many mountain bike trails in the area- including nearby town in Vermont. There are river's in and around town, including the pristine Baker River, with lots of swimming holes and fishing spots. There's a restaurant in town called the Ore Mill with great burgers and a bar, Moose Scoops ice cream shop in the summer months, and 26-28 minutes in either direction and you can be in the quaint town of Woodstock or Plymouth. There is highway access 30 minutes away in Lincoln, where you can get on the famous Kancamagus Highway- one of the most incredible foliage drives in the United States- which also brings you to North Conway, a popular tourist destination. As well, the ATV and Snowmobile trails in the area can take you all the way across the National forest and even well into southern, New Hampshire. There is road access for Off-road vehicles over most of the town and trails to take you into the mountains for awesome day-adventures. As mentioned, if you have off-road vehicles, the Rock Pile Motorsport Park is nearby.
We're happy to help you find your way around if you have any questions about hiking trails such as the AT, motorsport roadways, or driving directions-just ask!
Cell phone service is limited in Warren. Our property does not normally have cellular connectivity and you should make sure to have your directions programed before you reach the town of Rumney (if you are coming from the south). You will have wifi In our parking area.
When you arrive, park near the main house's lower garage area, wherever there is room (or the grass, concrete, or side of drive), without blocking in any of the vehicles- or at the bottom of the drive near the lower out building.
自我介绍
Hi! My husband (Daniel, who is British) and I live on 30 acres here in New Hampshire since 2018. We met 15 years ago in San Diego when we were both traveling extensively and now have a little homestead with our dog, chickens, and a small orchard. We're currently working to create a retreat center and our property is slowly becoming even more of a respite for guests. This summer we're adding an outdoor kitchen and more rental spaces. We love the White Mountain area and know that you will too.
