Lovely farmhouse with a stream out back and a deck to enjoy the surroundings. There is some country road noise and there aren’t blackout curtains if you’re sensitive to light, but we slept fine. A great home base when climbing at Rumney. We’ll be back!

This place was amazing, it was so peaceful and so beautiful. The home is adorable and very comfortable, but the large porch and backyard is where we spent most of our time. The creek towards the back of the property is so serene, and my cat loved running through the big open field. The outdoor shower, trampoline, tree house and fireplace were also used often and enjoyed greatly :) Additionally, their wifi was fast and worked well so I was able to get plenty of work done with no stress. Highly recommend this place!

Great house in beautiful setting. Perfect yard for kids with lots of energy. The area is gorgeous and has lots to offer in terms of activities, just do your research about what is open during certain seasons. We would definitely come back again!

I stayed here at the farmhouse in April with my family for a few days as a home base for the eclipse. We are absolutely thankful for such a beautiful, comfortable, and fun home away from home. We stayed with a two and five year old, and the house was a blast (outdoor play structures, trampoline and river!) with appropriate amenities for them. The home was built in the 1930s and has lots of quirky elements as most old homes do, however, it has been updated where it counts and is very clean. I love old homes and appreciate what they've done with it. I can't wait to come back when the garden is in full swing!
