Riverside Cottage was the perfect get away from it all property. The location at the bottom of the hill was peaceful and gorgeous, even amongst the drizzle. The cottage itself is spacious and we particularly loved the kitchen, conservatory and the master bedroom. The hot tub on the patio was very welcome in the evening and it was incredibly relaxing to soothe tired muscles whilst looking at the stars. Wi-Fi was reliable and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again, it would be even more beautiful during a sunny summer week.

Fantastic 4 nights in the Riverside Cottage for 2 birthday celebrations. Secluded and picturesque with all the walks you could want and daily spotting of Stag & Deers. We’d arranged early check in however there was some sort of delay, meant we were waiting for around an hour, Ribblesdale waved the check in fee and everything went smoothly from there. 5 out of 5 - would return again.

We had a brilliant stay, the property and surrounding land is fantastic. We hadn’t realised it was part of a much larger estate, so the on-site restaurant and small play area was a bonus. Some basic products (mini toiletries, kitchen/cooking essentials etc) would have been welcome, but overall we would highly rate this place.
