This is a well located basement apartment in the heart of Maida Vale. It is close to the tube station near restaurants and groceries. The location is absolutely perfect. The flat requires stepping down a steep iron staircase which needs to be traversed with care. If you are disabled or have mobility issues please be aware. Unfortunately on our arrival there were no fresh towels only six damp used towels from the previous guests stuffed in the bedroom drawer. We also noticed a distinct smell of heavy cooking odors coming from the kitchen area. On inspection the oven was quite dirty and unusable. Obviously there has been a continuous stream of guests through the flat with only cursory cleaning in between. I will say communication with the host was fast and easy and there was an effort made to right some issues.

This has to be one of the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Marina is a wonderful host and the apartment has the benefit of a private patio, and two bathrooms! One shower room and the other a large bathroom en-suite. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture the large tv also has Apple TV and Netflix. We will definitely be back!
