Can’t say anything bad about our stay at all. We visited Fort William for 2 days to climb Ben Nevis. We got the house no problem and were impressed straight away. The house was very clean, modern and perfect for what we needed. We usually find a pub for food and drinks after the walk but we were recommended a local takeaway by Jonathan, and had everything we needed in the house so there was no point leaving. We were left a few bits and peice by the host which we haven’t got anywhere else. Jonathan’s also gave us a few tips and weather reports for the climb which made it a lot easier. If we were to do the walk again we would definitely look at booking this place again.

It is always a challenge to find a place for 8 people and make them all happy but this place did just that. Everything we had needed and more was supplied. Our only wish was that we had stayed longer.

Grab your friends and book this place! First thing to say is the view from each room is just spectacular. A morning brew in the snug looking out at Ben Nevis was utterly perfect. The house is stunning, it's like the tardis, it's just keeps going and each room is lovely! You could stay for a week and still not play all the games or read the books. The house was spotless, you could eat off the floor if you wanted to! The kitchen is really well equipped and catered for 10 people easily. Jonathan has been the most thoughtful and attentive host I've ever dealth with. The kitchen had treats on arrival for everyone with different dietary requirements in the group and he had even written a card for us completing exams. He could not have been a more amazing host! We are already arranging another trip back. I can't recommend this place enough! Book it!

The Highwinds was the most beautiful Airbnb we have ever been too. It was so impeccably clean, and Jonathan had groceries including gluten free (for my allergy). Jonathan was so responsive and so amazing throughout our stay. We loved the sheep and horses at the farm nearby, and loved that the house was so close to the main areas for shopping and groceries. We hope to be back one day. Our sons did not want to leave after 2 beautiful days with our private chef, Giuseppe, in the best Airbnb!
