The house was very clean. The beds only have a fitted sheet and a duvet no loose sheet which I found odd. The top bunk bed wasn’t made so just something to keep in mind. Close to door county coffee and a brewery. The house is on a water holding tank and we had basically no water pressure. Showers were a no go with the water pressure. Even using the sinks was a trickle of water. Not sure if this is normal or not but inconvenient. The water dispenser in the fridge doesn’t work so another thing to keep in mind to bring water up. Plenty of parking. The door lock was a small inconvenience we had trouble getting it locked multiple times. We didn’t have kids but all outlets had child safety locks.

We enjoyed staying at Jan and Julia’s cute cottage for a weekend getaway, which easily accommodated our party of four adults. It was a spacious and serene property tucked away in the woods and private enough that it felt like we were the only ones living in the vicinity. We would definitely recommend for those who would like a modern accommodation over a more “rustic” one when visiting Door County (think “glamping” over camping).

Jan and Julia’s cute cottage was adorable! My friends and I loved staying here! It was a perfect mini getaway with our friends. Very clean, bedrooms were a great size, and great location. Perfect place for 3 couples to stay here. We cant wait to stay here again next year.

This is great. I highly recommend. Jan and Julia are great and their communication was amazing. The house was very nicely decorated and clean. The location is not to far from wineries, the lake, and restaurants.
