Incredible property and location, already planning our next stay!

Howard's house was very peaceful. It is in a quiet condo complex with lots of grass and trees. Each bedroom has it's own bath which is one main reason why we booked this house. The description of the listing is a bit deceiving. It says that the house is new with luxury amenities. The main part of the house is fairly new (kitchen/living room) and definitely provides a lot of space for everyone. However, the bathrooms are not updated-they appeared cleaned, however there is water rust stains, some water damage, mold in the grout, broken floor tiles, etc. The condo complex is on Laurel Lake, however you can't see it from the house and it isn't super easy to walk to so we needed to drive. The frontage on the lake consists of a road with Howard's dock. Some people were fishing from the road but there isn't a beach or anywhere to wade into the water. To do that, you need to get in your car and drive to the town beach 3 miles away. We did enjoy our time at the lake and outside on the deck.

Public spaces were very comfortable. House was conveniently located in the Berkshires which allowed us to easily visit nearby towns. The grounds of Fox Hollow were lovely for biking, walking, croquet etc. It was nice for every bedroom to have its own bathroom although bedroom carpets and some bathrooms need updating. Overall nice vacation!

Nice place for a weekend away with friends. Very convenient to Tanglewood.
