Philip was a truly outstanding host from the time of booking months in advance, right through check out. He was not only very responsive, but his communication was always friendly and supportive, which is impressive via text. The accommodation itself was absolutely perfect for our family of four and perhaps most impressive was how well equipped everything was from the kitchen, to the bathroom, to the beach supply closet. We would highly recommend staying at this location or at any property hosted by Philip.

- Phillip is a kind and very attentive host! We had a few questions during our month long stay and he was always quick to reply and very helpful - It's a great condo stocked with pretty much everything we needed - There are lots of towels and a fully stocked kitchen including spices and lots of dishes - The pools and hot tubs are nice and clean and not very busy during the day - The beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, cooler and umbrellas provided in the condo were perfect for all of our beach outings - The beds are very comfortable (the pillows are quite small, so you might want to bring an extra one if you prefer thicker pillows) - The views of the valley in this area are stunning! - The beach just down the road is quite nice and it's fun to watch watch the surfers and sunsets - Keep in mind that the condo is located a bit of a distance from most things so you'll be driving quite a bit - The roosters and peacocks are early risers so we needed earplugs to be able to sleep in a bit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai in the evening and watching the sunset. A couple of evenings as the sun was setting. It looked like the palm trees were on fire. Absolutely beautiful.! We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed the amenities that Phillip has in his home of the 10 x 10 canopy and the chairs that we could take to the beach. We loved, loved, loved Pokai Bay Beach. We spent at least two days a week there for 5-6 hours at a time. I think I’m going to miss that the most.

Phillip went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. We had some trouble with a few things and he was super responsive, acted quickly, and communicated with us the whole time. The condo was amazing and such a serene place. We loved the peacocks, chickens, and cats roaming around. The kitchen was beautiful (the backsplash is the most beautiful color ever), the beds were super comfy, and the living room was nice and spacious. The breezes at night coming through the windows made it super comfortable to sleep. It is a good distance away from the main parts of “tourist” Honolulu, but if you’re okay with the drive, it’s a fantastic place to stay!
