The modernized A frame is clean, comfortable, and tasteful. Very convenient to ski resorts in Soda Springs! As others have said the in-floor radiant heat works great, both warm yet avoiding the super dryness of forced air heating that makes it hard to sleep. The upper floors are colder however. The easy-on gas fired fireplace/stove, the portable heaters, and warm bedding work together - just be aware you need them. We cooked in the modern and well equipped kitchen. The tub/shower has faucet design that is so fancy, I had to text Caitlyn to figure it out! pull the ring in the tub's water downspout downward to get the water to flow thru the shower head. The short slightly down-sloped driveway and walkway were plowed and shoveled when we arrived. However, it snowed over 8 inches in the 2 days I was there. I had to dig around my tires (4-wheel drive SUV with all weather tires) to make sure that I had enough traction to get out. Overall, my family of four loved staying there!

Caitlin’s place was great! Our kids loved it. It was the perfect size for 4 of us. Easy to find and a peaceful location. Our kids had fun on the patio and back area when it snowed. They also enjoyed the game area. Kitchen was fully stocked. Location was close by to soda springs resort. Only minor discomfort was that it was colder upstairs, but the host had lots of space heaters and blankets available to use. The 2nd floor warmed up enough by nighttime.

Caitlin’s A-frame cabin was lovely and so very comfortable. So cozy, and had everything we could hope for. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, a warm gas fireplace, games to play, etc. Close to Soda Springs and Boreal ski resorts. The photos don’t do it justice! It was pricey, but I felt it was worth every penny. Such a great stay!

Loved our stay at Caitlin’s a-frame! Perfect for a weekend ski getaway for us. Plenty of space for a couple of teenagers, super well stocked kitchen, convenient to sugar bowl for skiing or just hanging around and sledding. Would definitely stay again, and highly recommend for your next trip to Tahoe.
