It will be far and in between you find a Airbnb with the quality of things Geri has put in her Unit. Quality appliances, bedding, furnishings, etc. Well worth what she’s asking. Not to mention she is a Gem. Thank you for a WONDERFUL Stay.

The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Geraldine has thought of everything; anything you could think of to be in a home, she has incorporated it into the Unit. The area is safe and has a great walking trail next to the house. I would highly recommend a stay at Geri’s Place. If I could give her more than five stars I would. Geraldine is friendly and very accommodating and my stay was five star plus.

Geraldine's space is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. When we arrived there were fresh flowers in every room, fresh fruit on the counter and breakfast foods in the fridge. She recommended some fun activities for us. We especially liked the Sunday market.

Nice little basement apartment located in Takoma Park. The nature all around the house and the surrounding area, especially the nearby scenic walking path and drive, was an unexpected bonus. With mosquito spray, the front yard was amazing to enjoy and lounge around in. The parking spot was a must-have and an amazing part of this unit. The apartment was well taken care of and appears to be recently renovated. The appliances are new and the bathroom and kitchen were very clean. The TV had a sound system that was a good bonus as well. About 1.7 miles from the takoma metro station, may be close for some but I found renting a scooter to be helpful if you are planning on a daily commute. Close to grocery and restaurants, about 30ish minutes from downtown DC once you get on the metro at Takoma park station. Geraldine was kind and responsive, and very welcoming and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Geraldine’s place! She’s a truly lovely and responsive host. I’ve been familiar with the area for years, so I didn’t think I needed to read the directions provided before heading to check in. But they’re necessary, spot on, and worth reviewing (prior to getting in the car lol) for a seamless arrival to this hidden gem. The location is in a serene setting with plenty of thoughtful touches to help you feel at home (well-stocked fridge and toiletries, healthy snacks, fresh fruit and flowers). Everything I needed for a long-term stay was on hand or within easy walking distance. Despite living nearby for years, I didn’t realize how many great walking trails converge in the area. I enjoyed waking up in the comfy bed and fresh linens to spend a few moments gazing out the window at nature. It’s truly a magical location!
